I recently received an amazing gift from the blender company known as Ninja... the love for homemade smoothies. I have been on a yearlong personal weight loss journey where I have lost 40 pounds in the process. I still have a way to go but as I tell my patients everyday, it is not where you are but rather where you are headed. The best and worst journeys are dependent upon the direction you have decided to undergo. In weight loss, it is easy to jump on and off the wagon. Do you agree? To make three correct turns, then two wrong ones. Finding something that you love that solidifies those good lifestyle changes you are trying to incorporate makes all the difference to lifelong health and wellness.
Smoothies are an easy way to incorporate a variety of healthy foods into your diet. Plus, similar to a slow cooker, you can nearly put in any type of fruit or vegetable and it still turns out delicious. :) This fact is important for someone like me who has a love for cooking but does not have the natural gift for it. I have come across three different smoothie recipes that I love which have assisted in my weight loss goals while still keeping my energy up. As your new Chiropractor in Centennial Hills, Las Vegas, I would recommend you give them a try and let me know what you think.
